Lovely house and grounds. As expected of a nation trust property. Very well kept. Unfortunately upon my visit the house was closed for maintenance yet spectacular grounds were open. Parking is ample. If you have small children or bicycles you do have to cross a road from the car park to the grounds so do be careful.

One of the best NT sites we've been to. We visited at Easter and there was a treasure hunt for children which was really thoughtfully planned out and not too strenuous for little legs! We saw the deer and lots of wildlife by the lake too. You can see a lot in a short distance if mobility is an issue or you have small children, but there are some longer walks as well and it didn't feel crowded even though there were lots of cars in the car park.

Lovely, beautiful place. Good for a day out visit. Alot to see as you walk around the grounds. We'll maintained and looked after. And would highly recommend visiting

National Trust owned so admission fee applies, plenty of parking. The Hall has five lower rooms to view. The main building is going through extensive renovation at the moment. Gardens well kept, outer buildings housing several 19century coaches, kitchen areas able to view. Gift shop, tea rooms, second hand bookshop, toilets available. Able to walk in surrounding countryside with deer prominent, must keep to paths and dogs not allowed in the deer park, otherwise plenty of other paths to walk on to explore. Good day

What a beautiful house and gardens to visit. At the moment ONLY the ground floor can be viewed, due to heating repairs and restorations being done. Very busy today, but still it's nice to see the kids enjoying themselves.

Beautiful 17 century Tudor and Victorian style house. Better to reserve tickets online before you visit. Free car Parking at spot available. Property has two cafes and fe benches beside water stream. If you fancy a picnic its a good spot.

A super walk through the parkland at Charlecote. It’s a great trail for walkers with some awesome scenery. You have the river to walk along, a small lake to walk around and you will also get a chance to see deer. The paths/trails are very well kept - with plenty of signage telling where to or where not to walk. Toilets are accessible via the main buildings and there is a lovely cafe if you fancy a hot drink or something to eat. We spent a few hours exploring with 2 young boys and they loved it.

This National Trust house only had 3-4 open rooms, and at Christmas, these few rooms were partially coved by white paper decorations which was a bit disappointing.

Outside the house had a small carriage and kitchen areas, small shop, decent used bookshop, and nice cafe with a few options, as well as many walks. Toilets were older style but clean.

If going for the walks or already a National Trust member that is in the area it's perhaps worth a stop.
