Monks Recreation Ground

Its a real shame that inconsiderate idiots spoil this public space by littering beer cans , plastic bottles and empty food wrappers. It's also a pity that not all the dog owners can pick up their animals' mess

Swings, slides, a zip line thing and a big open space for sports and dog walks.
Sadly a few dog owners don't clear up and the park is a bit scuzzy. It's OK.

Monk's rec is OK for a quick dog walk. Plus people enjoy football matches at weekends.
But unfortunately it's very run down and having a terrible time at the moment with some children vandalising and setting fire to the park benches.

This park could be really nice and used by families and dog walkers but people treat it as if it's a rubbish dump!! Broken glass everywhere, rubbish left on grass, zip wire Broken, play park out of date, it's used as just a walk through to the village, sad as it could be a lovely area, picnic for families, lovely gardens, seating areas!!

Increasing amounts of litter and graffiti. Toilets always closed or broken.

I go here a lot as its my local park if u are to go here make sure you have been before but if not there are toilets in the shops in the local town right next too it
