The playground is mainly for bigger children but there are swings and a small castle for toddlers, too. There's a footpath under the trees by the steam where wild garlic grows.
The parking lot is not that big and this place is hard to find, only a narrow road leads here. There's a footpath around the meadow with numerous benches.
Overall it's a lovely place, no "extras" but well designed and thought through; a little hidden gem.

Quite a small park but lots to explore, from the pebble bed stream, the meadow, wood carvings, the ancient oak, the alley way of trees and the park/gym for all ages and enough grass to run around on.

Nice place to walk the dog when the weather is dry. A very pleasant wooded walk around the outside of the playing field, with wooden walkways and a stream on the side nearest the play area.

Great outdoor gym and play area, varied walks. Shame people don't pick up their dog poo !

This was part of the Picnic in the Park organised each year as a great community event, showcasing local business and activities. Well worth the visit.

An amazing park. It's far away from the roads so not only is it peaceful, you don't have to worry about dogs/kids running off across the road. There's a large playground with a wide variety of well maintained rides, climbing frames and so on - even a death slide. There's also one of those outdoor gym things with various cardio and weight lifting machines. A football pitch off to the side of that, and beyond that a little forest. It's very well looked after, too; I only saw one bit of litter in my time there.
