This is truly what a children's play area should look like. It had it all; swings of all sorts, slides, castle, walking blocks, climbing frame thing, seesaw etc.

It was packed on Easter Monday but there was still plenty of space for all the little ones and there were loads running around. There were times when my little one had to wait her turn for something and I found most parents and children were quite good in this regards, just a few bad eggs who kept on pushing in and their parents saying nothing to them, that's not the play areas fault though.

There were also plenty of seating for the adults to take a break or take it in shifts to keep an eye on the young ones.

This is what all park play areas should aim to be.

Great play area, and the card payment parking meter worked which was great as we had no change

This is a fantastic play park, especially now during covid.

There are multiple little areas for children to play all in a larger play park. Which allows adults in the area to distance.

Suitable for all ages, my 1 year old loved it. But there are much more suitable areas for older children.

There is also a cafe very close by and toilets.

A good play area in the woods....this black park is one of my favourite spot to spend my day.
This play area is totally wooden and thats the magical point towards being eco-friendly. There is a cafe just few yards aways and in summer kids can relish an ice cream treat too as Icecream Van is present most of the time

Emma was my partner and our daughter Daisys mum. I’m so pleased the park is still making people happy after 17 years. When a few of my friends Dave, Steve, Katie and Nathan to name but a few, decided we would build a legacy for Emma. I honestly didn’t think I would be writing this now with a tear in my eye and lump in my throat. Thank you to everyone who’s helped along the years. We don’t have much to do with the place these days as we’ve moved away. So I’m imagining the rangers are continuing our work, so a massive 👍🏻 from me Paul and Daisy. Enjoy, Emma was a beautiful human being who is sadly missed xx

Loads to do, lots of benches too to sit. Mostly suitable for 2+ but my 7yr old thoroughly enjoyed it

Great place. Black park is one of my favorite place and the playground is the bonus!! My children love it ,even though they are too big for the playground.
