A peaceful park with lots of renovations being conducted. Will have a fabulous adventure playground available for children when completed. Nice water features and bridges etc. Parking is available opposite in Kearsney abbey park.

On the outskirts of Dover and opposite Kearsney Abbey you will find Russell Gardens.
They are being renovated to their original state.
The new enlarged car park opposite is excellent.
There are a few disabled parking bays too.

Lots of work in progress but you still have the walks available. The house in Russell Gardens is taking shape with a grand entrance up the bank.

A wonderful hour's walk on a beautiful autumn day. Russell Gardens is quite formal, the walks in the Abbey Gardens (across the road) are more unstructured. We loved both

It was a beautiful morning and I enjoyed the garden and the relaxing atmosphere. The gardens are beautifully cared for and it was lovely to see the wild life, especially the Swans. It is a great place to visit and the Autumn colours are inspiring. There is a lovely cafe and parking

Formal landscaped with long canal between two Palladian-style pergola bridges. The house is Kearsney Court with huge walled garden to the right. Walk to left to go to Bushy Ruff Park lake then up past Georgian Bushy Ruff House by footpaths, muddy in winter. Head further back and there are footpaths to Scotland Common.

Always enjoy these gardens but they were particularly lovely in the sun today.

Parking was busy but we found s spot.

The new café is nice and the new pathways are well designed.

Nice play area for children with a change from the usual swings, and a really big slide. Away from there it's a peaceful and beautiful place for a walk. No cafe, but toilets.
