I wonder if butchering the wife is actually as respected an activity as the history books make out. Still these woods are named after the deed, and if you listen to the wind at midnight...............you will hear cars passing on the Rugeley road. There are some nice shapes to the pines and plenty of wildlife (soaring buzzards are impressive) so all in all a good local amenity. Please clean up when you make a mess here, some people don't.
