Barming Woods / Oaken Wood

Large woodland area, parking is on the road. Lots of paths through the woodland and lots of nature to be seen if you take your time. Quite popular with local dog walkers.

Lots to explore, paths for bike riding, horse riding and then lots for general walkers too.
Lots to see with all the trees and plants and it really is a woodland full of beautiful plants and trees that you can enjoy throughout the seasons, from blackberry bushes to oak trees, and chestnut trees to toadstools you really could go and try spot so much.
Great for dog walkers too, lots of different ways to walk around and you can come back to the same spot easily too so you can change the walk a little for your dog and still not be far off your usual track.
These woods are perfect for family walks as well, you often meet families wandering through and the children running around jumping over tree stumps and having so much fun. Its lovely to see the forest being used by so many people.
