Chafford Hundred Park

A park with a lot going on. Take a bucket and spade there is a sand pit. No shade on a hot day.

The Gorge itself is great. For the first time I actually saw a staff member picking up litter, well done. Now they can chop away the overgrown plants and trees that obscure the view of the Gorge from the decking. It will be good if they open up the venue, as it is frequently closed.
The weather was sunny, so Spent a good few hours in the Gorge itself and enjoyed the Wildlife. I also noticed a few nice new benches near the lake which is great. Thank you to the public who have paid for them.

Lovely space for both adults and children. Whether you want to work out or let kids to have a good time, this is the place to go in Chafford Hundred.

Nice open and well kept park. A little big if you are on your own and have two kids running in different directions!!

Lots to do, 4 regular swings and 2 baby swings. Lots of trees to climb. A basketball court and medium sized football pitch. Overall quite good

Kidz always enjoy going here. A fun place for kidz. Parking is an issue. As roads are narrow and only road side parking is available.

A small park area offering play equipment for kids and exercise equipment, the picnic area (sectioned off from the main park area) isn't well cared for and the park often gets taken over by teenagers in the afternoons (not their fault, there is nowhere else for them to go locally but it does make but it hard to enjoy the park when all the play equipment has sweary teenagers draped over it).

Despite there being bins, there is often litter everywhere! Parking is on the road around the park and there is usually enough.

Great for the kids. Nice variety of equipment. Again, shame about the litter. Bins are provided, if they are full then take your litter home!
