We really enjoy coming here it's beautiful in every season.
The walk along the river is very peaceful and relaxing, the place is ideal for dog walks as there's lots of grass and for people who just enjoy a nice walk. The river is usually quite busy with wild life also ie geese, ducks and gulls etc..
Great place for photography lovers too, ideal settings for weddings on the bridge..

A hidden gem that is often overlooked by visitors to nearby Kearsney Abbey. Though not particularly large, this lovely country park is an idyllic location for family picnics or walking your dog. There are handy wooden seats here and there offering views across the lake on which majestic swans cruise serenely to and fro. On a busy Bank Holiday it is a haven of peace and tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of Kearsney Abbey.

No idea what it's like, drive all the way from margate with my daughter and grandson only to find there was no parking anywhere near! I am disabled and we had picnic basket, folding chair for me to sit on etc etc so needed somewhere close to park, nearest place was at campground which did have a shuttle bus but because of chair, Walker etc I needed no way we could use it! Why did councils insist on doing work in the middle of school holidays knowing that's when most people want to go??? Therefore I can't really review the place because we ended up turning round and went to sandwich instead!

An absolute hidden gem at any season, which is just across the road from Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens.

Very picturesque with lake with swans, ducks and squirels.

Even though not very big, but such a tranquil place for picnics, walking the dogs or just an ideal place for taking great pictures on the bridge.

There is also playground there for kids.

Free of charge parking near by, which have also disabled parking.

Public toilets available.

Cafe is located just across the road in Kearsney Abbey.
