What a wonderful place! It’s like being in heaven, especially from the spring to the summer. The flowers are absolutely amazing and the place is very well taken care of, even if you never seam to see anyone working. There are long or short walk in the whole area, so there is no chance of getting bored. The carpark is free for members of the National Trust, but they ask for a donation of £3.50 to everyone else. There is an informal donation column, where you can drop your money. They also ask for a donation of £1 for each leaflet you take and it really sounds like a bit much!

Lovely walks with different roots to take. The tower is only a 15 minute walk from the car park through a lovely forest with excellnt views waiting once you get to the top. in the summer its well.worth taking a picnic and enjoying the views.

Lovely place but time your visit! Important to go between April and June otherwise you'll miss out on the best of the flowers.

It's well kept by the National Trust and the parking is close by. It's also a good location to visit Leith Hill Tower and Leith Hill Place which are both within walking distance.

However do bring appropriate footwear as it's very hilly and can be muddy in places.

A beautiful spot to see the flowers and not too busy. The car park is also convenient for both Leith Hill Place and for taking a circular walk up to the top of Leith Hill and back again.

Beautiful rhododendron wood with several paths and routes leading you round the gorgeous bushes and trees. Lovely different place for a dog walk.

Good walks by Leith Hill (well signed posted as well) with some amazing views on a clear day. Also a good walk to the nearby Plough Inn for lunch or a coffee at the local shop. Dog friendly walks but some tough inclines at times.

Highly recommended for a long walk through the forest to the tower,
Plenty of picnic tables dotted around this site .
Lots of places to park,
No charging facilities.
