Pond Lane Park

Great for kids. A couple of picnic benches, but they were occupied - could use more seating for adults (can then sit down while kids play).

Could definitely do with sprucing up. A lot of the swing seats are broken or missing (on the bigger swings). But, my little one absolutely loves it there and always has a great time when we go. She loves climbing on the tank, and swinging on the 'bucket swing'.
What would make it even better is changing the grass out for something that doesn't produce so much mud in the winter...

It's a nice space and has accessible toilets but the play park itself needs some work and investment, there are a few things that have been removed as they weren't safe so it feels a bit tired and sparse at the moment

We love an early morning walk around here, so peaceful.

Great place to bring toddlers and older children with a great selection of equipment. A lot of space for running around, so never feels over crowded. Recently, some of the equipment has either broken or been removed, which is a shame, hopefully will be fixed/replaced soon. Part of the bigger park, with large open space, with an outside gym. Near shops and a pub. Nearby are some loos, but not always open.

Nice place to have a picnic, such as playing football or even training.

The park is really boggy in the winter and can ruin the fun when the ground doesn't drain. But the equipment in the summer is brilliant and there is a variety to do. There is also an outside gym and a basketball court. Plus there is a green to play football.

Unusual selection of equipment but in a good way.Works for very small children and older ones.Also it is fenced all round so as safe as it can be. The equipment all seemed maintained as it all worked well.Our 2yr old granddaughter loved it, plus the park outside of the play area is very big.Lots of the children had ice lollies from the shop across the road.There is also a selection of adult gym equipment and a basketball court.All in all an excellent facility.
