There are designated places for football, basketball, cricket, skating and open air gym.
Plenty of parking (reasonable rates & only £1 on a bank holiday). The toilet facilities were clean & well stocked.
A great place to sit and think, have a walk or exercise at.
If lucky even though its by a main road you might see a squirrel or two. Seasonally they add flowers throughout.
Could be cleaner so it would be nice if people were more mindful of the environment and helped to keep it clean and tidy for others too. It really is a nice place for what it is.
The majestic memorial arch, constructed to honour the First World War fallen, serves as the park's focal point. The lovely wrought iron gates at the Peace Walk and London Road entrances to the parks, as well as the arch, were created by Sir Edwin Lutyens.
