Surrey Wildlife Trust have created a very safe habitat for wildlife and wildfowl to the point that as a wildlife and photography enthusiast the area is practically worthless, bar getting lucky if the birds choose to take flight in your general direction. At every opportunity they have erected fencing with dire "you may die if you get near the water" signs and grown giant hedges to obscure your views of the water. Some of the lakes have almost no view at all and you'd almost not even know you were walking next to a lovely lake with plenty of wildfowl to view. As a walker the location is reasonable despite the constant drone from the motorway, but as a photographer I have been left crushingly disappointed that they deliberately obstructed access and views with ugly barbed wire fencing and huge hedges. This is a massive wasted opportunity to attract wildlife photographers to the area.

Lovely walk around . Yes it has got fenced off even more ,but there is a working gravel pit to one side of glebe lake . Didn't stop me getting a few snaps .
