Lovely park, includes the cricket club, plenty of seating, lovely to walk around, has a minature railway, going around a lake with ducks & swans on. Also has italian restaurant on site, only a few minutes walk from Chesterfield centre & retail park

Great day out. Plenty for the grandchildren too do. I suggest you take a picnic as the cafe is a little bit expensive. But they do lovely ice cream and lollipops. The train ride was running kids 3 and under are free. Had a great time .

Lovely park. Two play areas, one for big kids and one for little. Lots of ducks on the pond. A train chuggs round a track in the school holidays and weekends. And a great cafe.

A green oasis near the centre of town. Good facilities with plenty of all weather pitches. The lake is a haven for wild fowl but the islands need a little pruning (in my opinion). The children’s train ride around the lake is an interesting feature. In summer the cricket pitch provides an interesting diversion when there is play, it’s a shame that first class cricket is rarely played their anymore.

Another day at queen's park. Lovely safe park, great for the kids. Nice place to buy coffee ice cream toilets in the park. Little train for children which you have to pay for. Public car parks available at both entrances, other wise short walk from town centre. Boating lake, ducks swans etc.
