Fisherton Recreation Ground

Lovely half hour walk on boarded path alongside river. Peaceful but not too remote.

Fab, much improved since Salisbury City Council took it on. Lovely atmosphere, near by amenities. Aces.

Well was nice but all work going on tree cut of stream near play area being work
Let's hope it come out good as with most of salisbury so call up grade never really work

Great little river for playing poo sticks and chasing the time away ❤️🥰

I went for a walk along the boardwalk by the river with my minded children and they had a great time spotting the fairy houses and practicing numbers. We released some tadpoles into the stream as so many hatched from the frogspawn we had collected abut a month earlier. Then we stopped at an assessable bay where there was a seat and a safe place for the children to fish and play with toys in the river. We walked back and ended up at the park. There are toilets beside the field.

Love taking a walk here.
Dog walkers are obviously responsible and respectful as there were a few dogs but no mess.
The Council have up-kept the grounds and the walkways.
The river is clean and full of wildlife.
A very pleasant walk at anytime of the year.

Enjoyed a lovely walk with my elderly dog. Grounds are well kept and good to see people out and about enjoying the fresh air.
