Visited today, the new play area only opened this week so we were excited to go try it out. The kids aged 2-6 all loved it. The council have done a great job of making an inclusive play area so that everyone can enjoy it. As well as the new play area there's a great splash park which was very clean, a big sandpit area and a skate park. Plus a huge amount of green space and the band stand (where there was a brass band playing today). Impressively on a hot day the cafe didn't run out of ice creams and the toilets were decent. Plenty of car parks nearby - Duncombe Drive has an alley straight through to the park. Some photos are from the council site but are a good representation.

Fantastic place for the family. They are in the process of redesigning the playground, so currently limited to what you can do. They have a little cafe to sit down and have a coffee whilst the kids play. A lovely and well maintained place.

Place had the water working this time. Kids loved it and always will come back to this place over the years. See you again soon.

A good and wide selection of apparatus to enjoy for young ones ranging from under 1 to 12+ years including sand pit. Parking is difficult and needs at least a 5 minute walk but then that's never an issue as you're going there for a bit of exercise anyway.

Our first visit, although my husband lived in the area many years ago so was familiar with the park. Was impressed by the amount of apparatus there was for the kiddies, would go again, especially for the water park. Also was pleased by the appearance of the council truck to assess the rubbish situation, well done.

New top notch childrens playground in 2022. So much to do zip wire, sandpit, slides of various lengths including a high enclosed one worthy of a fairground. Toilets close by and coffee loyal kiosk in peak times
