Its a nice park, peaceful and good for a run. There is a hockey and football ground in there as well, they are the more happening parts of the park. The park could do with a bit more maintenance I must say. Some people threw a few plastic and beer bottles around which is a shame. I hope they keep it up.

The mile end park is long and runs along side the Regent's canal. It is very pleasant and has distinct "areas" including a Sports park, an Ecology park, Arts park and a Terrace garden. A great place on a nice sunny day unfortunately my photos do not do it justice.

The Eco Park at the Roman Road end of the park is wonderful. Ponds alive with dragonflies and damselflies. The park is packed with moths, butterflies, woodpeckers and more bugs than you could shake a stick at.

Nice to have green space. Long narrow park which has a raised walkway so you get splendid views of Canary Wharf. You can walk besides Regents Canal. Continue on to Limehouse Basin after Mile End Park. Worth walking through if you are in the area.

My go-to place at anytime as it is just 100m away from my stay. It is very long and the lake in between is very beautiful. Lot of people do camp in summer and it's a peaceful park to spend time. You can even see a foot ball and other grounds!

One of my favourite parks in London. I often come here on my lunch break and walk alongside Regent's Canal.
Amazing canal barges and narrow boats of all sizes and designs.
Park has a combination of open spaces, waterways, ponds, swans and wooded areas with lots of paths linking them together.

Well done to Mile End Park for the beautiful green space and the amazing amount of wildlife it attracts. It is an oasis in the middle of East London. Such a lovely place to go for a walk on a sunny day.

A nice park in the heart of the city. Park stretches from Mile End stadium in the south to Victoria Park in the north via the Green Bridge (which is actually yellow) linking the north and south side over the A11. The Regent's canal runs from north to south along the park linking Victoria Park and Mile End park.

Park has a combination of open spaces, waterways, ponds and wooded areas with lots of paths linking them together. Cycle paths also run along the park.

Park has:

- Football stadium and smaller pitches that can be booked through the mile end leisure centre.

- Mile End leisure centre with gym, swimming pool and football pitches. Pay and display parking available accessible from Burdett Road, E3.

- BMX track.

- Skate park.

- Climbing frame and play area for kids.

- Lots of paths for walks in the park and along the canal.

- Shops and cafes and fast food outlets along mile end road.

Accessible on foot if you are local or by bus, 25, 205, D6, D7 and train from Mile End station a 1 min walk away.
