A wonderful place to wander and Meander.

We just went after having our little dog Angel cremated at the the pet crematorium.

It is a lovely place to walk, run, jog, explore or just to remember many beautiful memories.

It’s a park for everyone to enjoy and the animals love to play too.

The dog in the pictures is Jazzie, Angels best mate 💚🦮💚

Heavenly thoughts “Angel” 🙏🦮🙏

Really great park! Excellent playground for children with lots of different equipment altering for all different ages. A massive sandpit too which was a lot of fun. Really nice cafe area with historic buildings and interesting independent shops. Well kept beautiful flower gardens and a train you can ride on but only running on Sundays.

A really nice park and a very good day out with the family. I visited Worden Park for the first time with my family yesterday and we all had a fantastic time.

It's a huge green space located in Leyland. Parking is fairly decent with a good sized overflow carpark, and its free!!

The park itself has lots of green space with picnic tables, and trees for shade (good on hot days)

My children enjoyed the play area which is huge. There are slides, swings, climbing frames, sandpit (which used to be a big concrete paddling pool) and a zip line. There is something for all ages here.

There is a miniature railway which is volunteer run so they only ask for donations. Very friendly people and the train ride was amazing. It only runs at the weekend or on Tuesdays during the holidays.

There is lots to do an explore here we are planning on going again soon.

Lovely well maintained park with lakes football pitches and lots of wide open tree fringed lawns , great place to take the kids for a day out with a good cafe and a well stocked ice cream and snack cabin doing burgers, chips, nuggets etc. A positive haven of tranquillity on a quiet day or away from the crowds so something for all tastes and ages. Give it a try.

Lots of big fields to have a game of footy on or have a picnic, great for dog walkers with a big area to walk, Food/Drink/Ice-cream available, mini steam train what goes around the fields is awesome and plenty of woods to go into. Also there is a lovely garden you can walk to there is plenty to do.

Large park. Great for a stroll.
Plenty of space for kids to run around.
Cafe gets very busy at peak periods.
Good fun trying to get round the maze - we had to use the cheat!
Pity the train doesn't run more and mini golf not open.

Absolute mud fest!! Only 2 hrs parking. Couldn't use toilets as I didn't take my purse for a walk with me and you have to pay.
Will say there is a great play area for the kids though.
Probably better in the summer when it's dry.

Parking is free but there's now a 2 hour time limit.
Great place for all the family & dogs to explore.
If you're going to the children's play area and use the sand pit - take a bucket and spade, as it isn't easy to use the attached shovels. A great expanse of play area covered in swings, slides and climbing equipment. There are toilets next to the playground, but they cost 20p to use.
In Summer, on a Sunday and in good weather, the miniature railway is open for rides around the tracks for a donation. Well done to all the enthusiasts and volunteers who keep this 'puffing' along.
