This is a big park facing the main road on the one hand and the river Thames on the other. Within it there are tennis courts, a nature area, a small obelisk, the air ventilation shaft of the Rotherhithe Tunnel and lots of space for jogging and walking. It's got several entrances all of which are closed at night.

The grandchildren love the park for the open space. The swings, roundabout and slide are all a big distraction for them and keeps them occupied ( with your help of course) for a long time.

King Edward Memorial Park is a large, green, open space that is located in the residential area of Shadwell. There are some entrances to the park. You can enter the park from the High Street and from the lovely Thames path which joins Limehouse to Shadwell. You can also get there from the Shadwell Basin side or the Tennis courts. The park is big with a large expanse of grass and many trees. There are two amusing playareas for children, fully equipped, and plenty of space for everybody to walk, relax and enjoy sunny days and the view of the river. There is also a small, pretty area where the vegetation grows naturally. The area surronding the park is just beautiful: Shadwell Basin and the outdoor activity centre, the impressive red bridge and the elegant, pictoresque apartments and pubs all around Wapping. The park is worth a visit and I would definitely recommend one in this lovely area.

Beautiful small park beside ten River and connect with narrow St Wapping and Isle of dog. For children ane others who love park and nature the best silent place beside the busy park.
Also most importantly beside the river Thames and uber Thames boat stop not far.

I work here! We do some fantastic work! Will be a lovely finish once it’s all done so bear with the disruption for now :)

This is a wonderful place with some great trees, including an Indian bean tree.

Once the sewage works are completed it will be amazing to have those brilliant views of the Thames again.
