A large village recreation ground of approximately 10 acres with full sized football pitches, training pitches, an artificial grass 5-a-side pitch, basketball hoop and what was once a cricket pitch but has since been abandoned.

In the summer "Teas on the Rec" sees tea and cakes served from the pavilion on Thursday afternoons in aid of local good causes.

Once upon a time I used to enjoy taking Timpson (my Irish Spazhound) for walks around Bisley Rec on a Sunday morning. But alas I’m saddened to report that I’m no longer able to enjoy this peaceful pastime as the place is now awash with football hooligans.

Football hooligans who park at jaunty angles, let off fireworks and play ‘music’ from the 1980s at ear bleeding volumes. One of them once wished me ‘good morning’ in a semi-sarcastic manner!

I never witnessed this sort of antisocial behaviour in West End.

Right by the A322 so not a peaceful place to be and not fully enclosed for dog and child safety. Not much here. A full size football pitch, a junior football pitch and a five a side artificial pitch mainly used by kids who climb over the fence. The artificial cricket wicket has long been abandoned and is becoming a bit of an eyesore. The pavilion has seen better days but is available for hire and hosts charity teas in the summer as well as kids who belt footballs at it. Large parts of the grass (that which is not used for football) are waterlogged for most of the autumn and winter.

Nice area for walking dogs though not that big. You can however also encompass neighbouring areas and do a much longer walk from there - just a shame you have to cross so many roads!!

Very nice open space
But there wasn't any refreshment facilities when playing football

Nice and quiet for football training in the evening. One of the less busy spots, at the moment.
