It has a basket ball court and an out door gim area as well as plenty of room for walking or running around. Dogs can be walked here, at weekends there is football matches played on the 2 pitches in the middle area of this died.

**FIRST OF ALL PLEASE PARK IN THE CARPARK PROVIDED BY THE COUNCIL AND NOT IN ANY OF THE SIDE ROADS/STREETS!!!** Great place to visit for a kick about. A circular field, large but if you are walking the dog I would say if you have a big dog then stay a while and bring a toy to throw around for a abit. Good for sun tanning. Free parking next to the field. Sometimes, depending on time of day, there can be a gaggle of fitness finatics running around the field... So if you want to sumbathe keep in mind they don't pay attention to you when you are sat on the field, one time I literally almost got trampled on by them, good group of them too - 30 odd. On the weekend, in the morning, kids will be training for football and having matches or a good kick about so keep dogs on leads during this season, or well away. There is a couple of metal benches with tables at the back part of the field, along with a concrete pitch for ball games, also a newly fitted outdoor gym.

Some visitors are kind of grumps. Why walk round a field if you don't want to rub shoulders with other people &/or their pets... sigh

Had a lovely walk with elderly dogs, the sun was shining, the fence intact and plenty of poo bins around. The grass was nice and short. One of my favourite places to take less mobile dogs.

Really nice place to take the kids, that said there are a few issues like broken beer bottles on the basketball court which is a hazard for the kids as well as kids in school uniform smoking and doing drugs.

Nice open space, plenty of room for the kids.

Fireworks were amazing as always
