Seat still there.
Nice place to sit when walking dog and take in the lovely view.
Pair of owls can be seen searching for their evening meal around 8 or 9 these summer evenings if you're lucky.

HERE IS A NEW UPDATE AS OF JUNE 2019 I have been for a wlak in april and may and seat has been destroyed yet again
its such a nice place for all the wlakers and dog walkers as well to sit and see the view and the wild life a swell
all that is left now is the metal stands the wooden slates sat on
is such a great shame they smashed it up again
they need to reaplsce it with something more substantial so it cant be
destroyed ever again

Shame the bench for sitting on was vandalised and destroyed. Are the people responsible for the Country Park unable to replace it with something more substantive. After all that was the only seating in that area for older people to catch their breath and relax
