Goldsworth Park Recreation Ground

What a great place to have a nice walk and see the abundance of wildlife that live in the lake. We park at the Waitrose parking, grab a coffee from Costa then head up to the circular walk around the lake with our two kids. They love it and makes a great hour out. There is also a play area at the halfway point so adults can rest while the kids play in a secure area. Lovely in all seasons.

Great park. It has everything. Ample car parking. Fields & wooded areas. A play park & a lake to walk around. Plus public toilets.

My wife and my son play hockey there for Woking Club. Not particularly well: my wife is captain of the Women's 6's, agreed no show on Saturday, won her "Wally of the Week".

They have 3 astro pitches, well taken care of. A club house which can serve drinks.

Would recommend Woking Hockey club: if you play for the top 2 teams you are expected to help coach the lower teams. In addition to actual coaches.

A lovely walk on a well kept park around a lake. On the flat for those who worry about these things, well, it is around a body of water and they tend not to slope too much!
99.9% of the people are well behaved. I have only experienced one idiot riding a bicycle as if he was on an F1 track and I have spent hours there.

Nice lake and rec ground with free parking. Great for picnics and for the kids to let off a bit of steam. I've cream van there today sun 18/07/21.

Beautiful open space with everything you would need close by: parking, toilets, park... Would definitely consider going back one day to have a walk around the lake too.
