Beautiful nature walk including meadow, woodland, duckpond, rope swing, stream, fishing spots and even some wooden creature sculptures to add to the fun.

Great place for a walk and enjoy nature! I've also seen some people fishing. Bikes are not allowed within the area since the walk path is relatively narrow

Amazing place for relax and energy recharge...
Space for cars to be parked near, entrance just off road.
Old trees wrapped in ivy immerse you in the atmosphere of a fairy tale.
Cam river with water dam on it helping to control lavel of the water, bunch of ducks (get some bird food along).
Few points with benches to rest.
Place is tiny but so cozy.

Lovely atmosphere with scenary typical of Cambridge. There are great walks through the woods or by the river. You also see some birds and they are cute. I think it is so peaceful and pleasant here. Easy access to and from Trumpington Meadows or other nice areas in Grantchester. Parking for cars and bikes available.

Unless you know to look for it, this little gem is so easy to miss!

Right next to the open parkland of Trumpington Meadows nature reserve but hidden behind the treeline is Byron's Pool, which is a lovely little stretch of river and pools.

A small trail through the woods, along the bank of the river, with little fishing pontoons dotted along the way.

Great place for the dog to go in and out of the river, so he loves it! 🐕‍🦺

Next time you take a walk on Trumpington Meadows nature reserve, make sure you go look for Byron's Pool.

Lovely place, with lots of paths to walk around of any length you may be looking for. Not plenty of parking though.
