Ipswich main park for play/leisure and events, well maintained, there's also the mansion in the grounds which welcomes people in to view and see the history of the building, to one side is the art gallery which had a Gainsborough exhibition and collection plus information about the artist and his art. There is also a small tea room to the side of the building, I have used in the past but not in most recent visit. The arboretum is beautiful, that's the park area especially designed for tree's. Ipswich has this and many other park areas which all are worth visiting.

Very big and beautiful park. There are different areas for recreation. Pond with ducks and geese. Playground, tennis courts, a small cafe in an old Mansion, plenty of space for dog walking. There are toilets outside and in the old Mansion. The Mansion is open as a museum and has a small gift shop.

Very beautiful park, wonderful landscape and perfect for someone who would like to have a little city escape. Enjoyed lovely walks in the park, perfect for wildlife enthusiasts too. There are toilets in the park operating for free and little coffee shops.

What a wonderful and unexpected find! We came to Ipswich for a weekend staycation in the area. Was an unexpected visit and in search of some nice walks and culture we found this lovely park, which to our surprise had the most amazing mansion turned museum right in the middle of it. And free to enter too! Would happily of paid! Made a wet and windy visit a great one! Lots of great art and history on show and all well laid out and presented. Safe and clean with great information and history for the curious minds. Brilliant place.

Lovely day out any time of the year. Or, of you're in town is great just to take a walk through, have a picnic or visit the cafe and museum! Lots to see and do. The wildlife and flora is also great to see and the gardens are always well kept.

A great Park for a leisurely walk. Nice wide paths, lots of open space for the dog or the kids to run. Plenty of trees, plants and points to interest especially the lake.

A beautiful park that has a manor house now a museum. Free entry. Really well preserved well worth a visit. The council however ought to put more effort into the upkeep of the paths. There seemed to be lots of staff running around in vans but the paths were grossly overgrown in the areas by the lake areas. So much the generous paths were single file with nettles and brambles.

Beautiful park, many different lawns to wander round. Some lovely features, plus the beauty of many species of wildlife that live or visit the park.
