Wonderful! For children and adults. But also for dogs. Here nature is at home.

Large recreational space with a rideable train circuit that is available for £1 each but check the dates that it's available as its not a daily thing. It has a resource centre but that wasn't open when we went so not sure what's included. It has a park for children to play in and an activity trial to walk around that is for everyone for free. If you continue walking through to the other side it takes you to Knowle Green areas but we stayed around this area so the kids played football, had a walk around and played in the park. Only downside is there are no toilets that I could see, very few bins and only 1 picnic bench. However most of the benches were scattered around the park area. There are many dogs walking both on and off lead which is lovely to see but if you don't like them it may be an issue. Car parking is free from what I can tell but is small so very limited and we couldn't park here today.

Commercial road park is a lovely large public park. It has a small children's play area with the usual apparatus and there is a fitness trail with a few wooden work out areas. A massive green area frequented by dog walkers and families as well as keep fit instructors.
A smaller green area, often used for football and cricket is located to one side and another green area used mainly by families for picnics links the park with the bowls club opposite. There is a miniature railway ran by a group of enthusiasts based on site which runs monthly. The only negative is the lack of toilet facilities or coffee shop on site, which I believe would make this park the best in the area.

Large grassed area good for dog walking or having a kick-around. There is also a playground for younger children. Small car park which can get busy at times.

Nice wide open space with swings etc. for the little ones and equipment for exercise. There is also a miniature steam railway line open once per month in the summer.
