The park requires some TLC and at the time of my visit there was a grounds maintenance crew tidying the grass and borders. The park has a well kept bowling green, though it’s a sign of the times when the clubhouse has to be secured with ironwork. It’s a handy small park, just right to take your dog a quick walk or let your kids play for an hour

Not impressed at all. Broken steps on entrance from London Road. Broken glass beer bottles around swings, poor up keep of swings, if that was a cafe it was closed, looked rubbish, on a Saturday morning it should be full of children, only me & my granddaughter there, was very isolated no colour, No flowers. You have a cheek to call it a park. Will not be going again.

We like this park, quite a bit of litter usually, lots of youths later on, normally no bother though. The trees up at the top are nice to walk through. Small kiddies play ground with swings, seesaw and slide.

It has a small climbing frame with a slide, a set of baby swings and a set of normal ones, and next to it was some picnic benches and a cafe, and a massive football pitch, the kids loved it.

Very clean and all equipment well kept, there could be more play equipment but for a little park it was nice, the surrounding basketball ball courts need improvement and a kind of allotment thing needs a hell of a lot of work or removing and tennis courts added or something.

Lovely place to take a stroll & relax with family and friends. Woodland walks. Tennis /basketball court + bowling green & wide open area with seating
