Pooley Park Nature Reserve

Some excellent DH track's
Only three track's Gap jump's doubles table tops great to session for a few hours.

Lots of different walks including along the canal. Plenty of outdoor space and parking spaces. Unfortunately when we visited the play park was closed due to maintenance so kids didn't get to play here. Car park machine is away from the carpark so not very convenient and doesn't give change. Although there is a good little cafe/shop it's a shame it is cash only.

Really pleasant countryside walk. Perfect to take the dog, or the mrs (whichever you prefer!). Can get pretty boggy after a heavy rain though so don't wear your best sneakers.

Very nice place to spend a few hours either walking or riding. The MTB skills area is spot on too, a bit of everything for all levels. I came here for MTB training with SkillsLoop and they're well worth checking out indeed. Pictures are from my course.

Close too where i live and a beautiful place for a day out on the bikes or lovely walk with family and friends

Large park with canal and viewpoint from top of old mining tip. Interesting to spot remains of mining activity, more detail in museum.

Nice place for a walk , jog or bike ride, nice little park for kids , nice walk along canal and some good view at top of hill where the mountain bike trails begin. Will be back with my bike next time.

Beautiful and a peaceful place to visit. You can only pay for parking by card. It the place is nice and so relaxing. Weekends are a little busier but all in all, I visit often and always have a good time
