A very pleasant place close yet a sanctuary from the hustle of Oxford.
A large area of open parkland offering fitness stations at regular intervals about the perimeter path.
Open space for games plus good views of Oxford with a few park benches to relax on.

Beautiful park. Wonderful for a picnic. Quiet. Not as busy as university parks.
This is the Oxford equivalent to Edinburgh's Calton Hill. Marvellous view of the entire city from the height of the Headington Hill.
I had heard from everyone about how beautiful South Park is. Now that I have finally visited it, I can say that it is not overrated.

A fantastic green space, affording delightful views. It has exercise machines around the edge of the park and is good for running on the perimeter. Some lovely old mature trees as well as secluded areas for picnics and quiet time. Benches are ample for sitting and the park is generally kept clean and grass is an adequate length.

Splendid park - huge, attractively sloping, with fantastic sunsets and great views of the Oxford skyline

Great views! Quiet on a weekday morning when I went, but watch out for the mud at the entrance on Morrell and Cross St

It is the most famous park in Oxford. There are a lot of squirrels in the park and there is a lot of open ground covered with grass. It is a great place for children and pets. However, I would like to see more fruit trees and little businesses like buffets in the park.

Nice place to picnic in the summer, walk your dog, play footie what ever floats your boat. Place to chill chat with mates, soak up the sun, I have seen some really good sunsets here. Oh and top of field pass the park there is The Oxford artisan Distillery (internet check), never been my self, but for you Gin lovers 😉 Enjoy and 🙏🏽🙌🏽

Open green space with lovely picnic spaces, tracks and views. Park has nice hilly view surrounded by trees and open space. Play area for kids. There are restaurants and cafe nearby. Parking is available just outside the park. Sunday is free parking. This is a great park for summers or winters. Dog walking area.
