Great park to just chill out in. Lake full of ducks and geese to watch and feed! I think the best time to visit the park is springtime. Look out for the geese with the little chicks.
Little kiosk to buy snacks and drinks with some outside seating. Play area for the kids as well. Just a stones throw away from a McDonald's if you are so inclined.

Lovely registry office with beautiful grounds for photos, we had a very light drizzle (I know photos don’t look like it) and we managed to get under some trees to briefly continue.
The lawn area is clean and tidy with no litter, depending on position of the sun your backgrounds are great.
There is ample free parking for your guests as well.

We took our granddaughter to the park. She enjoys visiting here for the variety of activities available. We started off just admiring the birds in the lake - swans, ducks, coots, moorhens, geese and gangs of pigeons. Then it was time for a drink and to purchase some bird food. After spending more time by the lake we went to the playground for a bit while our granddaughter amused herself on the equipment. One bonus is that parking is free for up to two hours.

The park is accessible from several directions on foot, but only at one point by car. The car park is busy at peak times, so it's advisable to arrive early. The park has good well maintained play area, this also gets busy. There is also a plenty of areas to walk dogs, with a good number of bins available for dog mess. There is kiosk selling a selection of drinks and snacks. There are also public restrooms available at this location.

Beautiful park further up north of the city centre of Nottingham. Great for having an all-day relaxing picnic with family & friends. Kids also won't get bored.
