Some of the path ways are currently closed for maintenance work (26th June 22) a beautiful place to walk, lots of ducks to feed, people fishing, not sure on rules for that. Voluntary pay carpark, a lovely cafe and a park.

Lovely place to visit for a country walk. The kids park is great, fenced in safety and the equipment is great. There's an on site cafe but unfortunately doesn’t stay open all day! Great free parking with an honesty meter if you can contribute towards parking. Gates shut in the evening so remember to take note of closing times. Great place to while away some time

Came to take some photos of the stars. Was a stunning location nice and high up even though it was pitch black. Will be returning in the day time for definite.

Loved this place a great walk and friendly walkers.
A big fishing lake and plenty of wooden areas for kids to play.
There is a small park that's ok.
I would recommend a visit to the cafe for a bite to eat and a toilet stop.

Paths are mostly passable, however, lately they are quite muddy and boggy. You'll definitely need good sturdy walking shoes without a doubt. Around the water road it's okay. Everywhere else is muddy..I would say unsuitable for the elderly who aren't so good on their feet. Will be okay after continued dry weather though. Can do a loop from the car park. Car parking is by donation and can fill up quite fast. Small to medium size. Great views from the top.

Cycled in as its accessible from national cycle route from blidworth, nice easy ride and the place was very nice and clean. Lots of anglers fishing, sculptures hidden away and the visitors centre cafe was lovely, staff were very nice... cream scone and a drink only £3... will defo go again
