Great play area and abundant space for outdoor activities and dog exercise. The paddling pool is an underrated gem. Parking could be improved.

Huge park with a little woodland walk, wide open field and lovely clean play areas with what looks like a nice size paddling pool in the summer. Perfect for all the family and doggos

Wow, it was a beautiful day for it. I hadn't been here since it was renovated but I'm so glad I went. My twins are 18 months old and this place was perfect for them. The paddling pool only came to my ankles and is the same depth across the entire pool. It is fenced in and gated so didn't worry about them getting out. The area around the pool is a soft rubber type material and wasn't slippery when wet. Considering its an outside pool it was extremely clean. Can't wait to go back.

A family park, dog walking and play area, easy access and parking, lovely views to Orwell bridge at top end, if walking from Stoke park drive to the Wherstead road entrance this leads to the ostrich creek and river Orwell, plenty of wildlife in the park, woodpeckers can be seen near the reed beds and the Brook side of park plus many other species of birds.

What a find, took the children to the splash park. They had great fun in the pool. Plenty of shade to keep out of the sun.
Great parkland, great for bike rides and dog walking. Car park available, and it's all free!

Could do with some lighting when dark, otherwise pretty decent park, dogs welcome bins provided, and a ton of pokestops for the kids 🤣

I have known this park for a long time, watched the Orwell Bridge being built from it and even played on the climbing frames as a kid that are still there today! The more up to date swings and pool are great. The view of train line and bridge are blighted by the new housing being built near the ski slope, but the park remains a quiet open area, great for dog walking and muddly at the bottom.
