I visit here regularly to do the bulk of my walking exercise. At around 1.22 miles per lap of the lake, it's a nice size for it.

Great park to visit. Plenty to do, generally tidy and clean. Except for the toilets really which could do with a bit of investment to bring them up to standard. And maybe a fence system to keep all the ducks and geese from going on the grassed area, just seems to be bored poo everywhere, more that there ever has been. Other than that generally a good place to go.

It's early Sunday morning so not many folk about but it was sunny but breezy and I went for a slow cycle around Highfields boating lake which was very nice ,there is a coffee shop but It was closed as I was too early ,it was lovely though

First time we have visited, was advised parking can be difficult so made the journey on the tram which was perfect as drop off is right outside the park.
Lovely walk around the lake, very picturesque.
Only thing that let's it down is the state of the toilets

We love it here, lovely walks around the lake and we get to feed the ducks and other wildlife. My grandson loves the park even though some parts are a little old or broken. We use the theatre quite often again with my 5 year old grandson and have watched some great shows/plays there.

It's a really nice place to walk around, it's peaceful and relaxing. There is a cafe for drinks and snacks and a mobile coffee van too, the latter sells some fantastic brownies, cakes and savoury pastries, the coffee and hot chocolate isn't bad either! We like to stroll around and feed the birds and squirrels; it's a very satisfying thing to do. We go several times a week, and we'd never be bored of it.

We love this park. A great walk around the boating lake with lots of interesting things to see to keep the children engaged (trees to climb, bridges, etc). Lots of wonderful birds and wildlife to spot. A good sized play area, toilets and a cafe as well. Parking is free but there isn't a huge amount of space so it can be hard to find a space when it's busy.
