This is a beautiful gem of a Pocket Park. It was originally built to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth ll in 2002. It is hidden behind a lovely stone wall with iron railings.

Inside, the space may not be a lot, but it's certainly well designed. The are lots of benches for seating generously spread around the Pocket Park.

The planting is also nice to look at. At the beginning of May, when I visited, the bluebells were flowering and the looked fantastic. Well worth a visit. Just be aware that there is no car park outside the park.

Beautiful little pocket park with benches to rest on. So well planted to follow the seasons. A great asset to the village. 🌲🌼🌱🌳🍁🌹🏵🍀🌿🌸🌺💮
