We personally use the park to walk our two Labradors, and it suits our needs perfectly. There's a small play area, which is fenced off so that dogs can't get in, a football pitch and tennis court which is also enclosed. There's a small car park, a path all the way round, and you can also access the canal to walk along a good few mile stretch. Some parts of the grass tend to flood during very wet weather.

Nice location especially in the summer. The food was good but not exceptional. Not enough staff manning the tills so a bit of a wait to order. Some of the staff must have been new as they seemed a bit aimless ( but were still polite)
Not our first visit and definitely not our last

Fun place to take my grandchildren, a small playground section for the 4 year old & football pitches for them to play football - practising goal shots on many occassions

Was a shame that some one had knocked down the shelter on the park but apart from that its is quite and a nice place to get some quite time without having to leave the NP erea

It's seems to be flooded most of the winter, the focus for the park is definitely on the football club (and fair play to them they have been there forever) all said and done thr car park is handy to walk up to the canal
