Came here for a pleasant walk! It’s lovely, fresh and clean. Parking just outside for free or inside the car park for £1 for 2 hours or £3 daily. It’s a nice beautiful place to walk or ride a bike if preferred.

What an absolutely beautiful place to walk. We parked for free just outside the park and followed the map. There was a very long climb upto the farm but great views and picnic tables await. The dog thoroughly enjoyed the river

Cracking circular walk around the river. Car park up to 9 mile point and return on other side. Dog friendly, mixture of paths and trails, place to enter water. Benches dotted around, one small incline, more walks to do.

A peaceful walk, with plenty of paths including the river walk. There is also the Rhymney walk which provides spectacular views and wildlife. The Cycling route 47 will take you through Willie into Measycummer and over the Viaduct to Penalta Park and over to Taff Bargoed lakes. There is a lot of history including the Babell church, farm and bridge across the river. Well worth a visit.
