A nice place to walk your dog,it is wide open and close to the main road so unless your pet is trained well please keep on the lead. Now the downside would the dog owners show some responsibility and clean up your pets faesces ( poo) !! I don't want to step in this nor do I want my dog to. Wake up because you can't smell the roses because of the dogs mess.

Lovely green area to walk your dog or sit and relax. The trees bordering the common were bought by American GIs during the 2nd world war, as a thankyou to the local people, as they were billeted on the common.
