I went cycling with my niece today and we enjoyed our day. It is ideal for cycling, walking and taking dogs on a walk. It has a lovely river flowing through it with lovely scenery. Outside the park you can hire bikes. There is also an area to play cricket and other games.

Lovely place. Did a 5mile walk along the river there today with my dad and daughter. Seen families walking, prams being pushed, joggers, people walking dogs and people on bikes. Didn't see any wheelchair users but the path is perfectly fine one, no hills and no rough terrain. The walk can be shorter or longer than 5 miles. Bikes can be hired although I don't know the cost. Quite surprised to see kids and dogs playing in the river at one point but as we got closer I could see why, I would have spent my childhood in that river if I lived in that area. Will def be doing it again but next time i'm taking a towel.

We have been here twice for my son's rugby games. Both times the parking has been difficult but know this is due to the sheer amount of people there. The fields there are large and well kept. I didn't see any dog mess on the floor. The bins however are overflowing with rubbish and poo bags. It's great that the mess in in the bins but one is right next to the children's play area. The play area is great. It is large, clean and has lots of things to keep children entertained. Mine played there whilst my eldest played rugby and there weren't ready to leave after an hour. We didn't walk all the way around the park but it does look very large. There is a river running along side and you can see people rowing up and down which is nice. We wouldn't go out of our way to go again unless it was for a rugby game, it was very nice but quite a distance to travel just for a park. I didn't see any toilets for the public , someone stopped us to ask if there was any and another member of the public said no. I didn't see any local shops you could go to use either, so something to think about if you have young children. I also couldn't see any refreshments available in the area we were in so would need to pack a picnic.

There are tennis courts and rugby/ football pitches. I use the park as a cut through to more interesting walks along the Taff and Canal. You can do a loop around the park itself. There is a free car park, yet there are no allocated disabled parking spaces. Parking spaces aren't marked and the car park tends to only fills up during peak times. No public toilets.

The place is beautiful, but it needs more children's saliva, as it is very little

Fresh water swimming in the Taff. Not sure if it's for me but the water is very fast flowing so I imagine is clean

Great place to watch the boy play local rugby teams on a Sunday morning. Nice sized park plenty of runners, cyclists and dog walkers. It's next to the river taff and forest fach just up the road.
