It's a lovely open park. However of you have children the children's park is dated and has some not so safe activities (some swings are really rusted and poorly maintained). There are quite a few potholes in the tarmaced walkways!

Here for Glasonbarry tribute festival. Good set up. Some great bands. Saturday ELO and Queen on last were fantastic. £20 for 18 vouchers.4 vouchers a pint. Lots of food stalls.

Lots of open space as well as the play area. Toilets clean and tidy. Most importantly these days: plenty of space for free parking around the outside of the park with a number of entry gates so not far to walk.

Lovely open and clean space ,good play facilities for children . Plenty of space for your dog to have a good run . Walk under the bridge at the bottom end of the park and your at the knap with a beach and lovely coffee shops

First visit to park lovely ground with small safe enclosed playground. Well maintained flowerbeds. Tennis courts and plans for new coffee shop imminent. Definitely worth a visit

Lovely early morning walk and play with my 5 yo. The whole park was very well kept and I did a spot of geocaching while son was playing on the play area. Only disappointment was the lack of open toilets at that time in the morning

Nice park, several entrances, enough benches with some covered. Toilets and a bowl for dogs usually present.
