Great place for walking and relaxing by the river Severn, popular with joggers and dog walkers

It's a nice place to take a walk and just to sit by the river seven.

On the plus side it's a lovely park adjoining the River Severn in Newtown. Choose to walk on the tarmac path or walk close to the river and use one of the many benches to relax and watch the river go by. Plenty of bird life and who knows, you may see an otter or a kingfisher. On the downside there needs to be a serious effort by the council to enforce anti litter laws.

Love it down there. But there is dog s**t everywhere. Just pick it up and bin it 🤦‍♀️
