This area is known locally as 'Captain Sids' (after Captain Sidney Davies) and not Ynysforgan Woods. These were Captain Sid's grounds, the name stuck with us locals but with people moving into the area it's become less known. My great, great grandfather made and erected the reddish gate pillars which still stand today. Small but a nice place to relax.
