Always has been a lovely walk,with the stones there now too it's nice to look at what everyone has created!

Situated at the top of the village of Cwmparc above Treorchy in the Rhondda Valley at the foot of the Bwlch Mountain A reclaimed pathway following the course of the river coming down the valley from the Bwlch Mountain in a stunningly picturesque landscape Ornately hand painted stones and pebbles have been placed on the bank of the river by local people paying tribute to local history and events A lovely walk in picturesque and rugged countryside and just a short drive ( or a steep walk only for fit individuals ) to the summit of the rugged Bwlch Mountain with stunning views of the valleys below where you can usually enjoy an ice cream from the ice cream van and get aquainted with the local mountain sheep

A stunning walk suitable for dogs with fresh water and a dip option for the dogs. If you see any other walkers they are always friendly and have a good chat. Beautiful Welsh walk. Love this route
