Amazing natural environment but totally hidden away from view. Hopefully when the housing development takes place this is developed

Something of a hidden gem. A lost part of the previous industrial heritage associated with the Llandarcy Oil Refinery that closed in 1999. This appears to have been a reservoir, as the pool is surrounded by an earth bund and high brick wall with sluice gates that have now rotten away. The site has been well and truly reclaimed by nature and is clearly well off the beaten trail for most.
