This place is well worth a visit - to fish, walk, or see the swans etc.

A nice little place to walk the dog, people often fish here too.

Liswerry Pond (Quarry) is an amazing looking place, with features such as benches and fishing spots it makes for a lovely day out with numerous possible activities. It's local habitat is very friendly which makes for a warming visit.

Fantastic place for fishing. Great the way things are run. Very inclusive with the community and holding events for disabled people.
The owners have put so much in to place its unreal

Nice place for walking the dog, shame that electrifying the nearby train track has forced the closure of part of the pathway around the pond. A new playground to replace the one torn down years ago would be nice. But being in the poorer part of Newport will probably mean this will never happen. Its a shame MP Jessica Morden couldn't be like our parks and disappear.

Only looked through the web site but easy to use. Looks like a nice pond to go for a walk
