What an amazing place, bit of a pain in the arse to get too but once there, its like your miles away from everywhere!! Once you get through the underpass the sound of the roads soon disappear leaving you lovely sights and sounds. Huge rhododendron bushes galore!! Love wild garlic? Fill your boots as its everywhere in abundance!! Following the paths you can easily go off walking for hours on end!! Dog friendly so they can run around like loons apart from in the dingle where they have to be on leads, small car park so worth getting there early for a space, small disabled parking area, no ev charging points and no cafe...yet. areas on the top of the hill (quarry top) where you can picnic off the beaten track. Some steep areas though so suitable footwear needed.

I haven't been to Cefn Onn for a few years and I must say, it's looking lovely. A lot of improvement work has been done. The large pond is looking great, there's a new elevated boardwalk that takes you up to the playing field and the pathways have been upgraded.

Lovely hidden gardens, with pond. Originally private garden but now owned by Cardiff Council. New toilets built. Would be nice to be able to get refreshments or icecream.
Dogs should be on lead but many flout the rules.

So different trails and tree and plant types. The odd carving here and there. Ones I've never seen before too. Very scenic. Chilled spot for a leisurely walk. Few pubs close by.

A real hidden gem. The sound of the motorway soon disappears and you’re left to walk around a really pleasant and accessible nature walk. Free parking & toilets.

Lovely park, lots of places to walk and explore! Sadly, no café, the parking is very limited, and the entrance leave you with unpleasant smell in your nostrils... Otherwise worth visiting.

Really nice place. Gorgeous and quiet. Thank you for all the hard work put into it. The trees looked stunning today. Sad to read about Sudden Oak Death, though it fascinated the children. Thank you for providing great toilets and an outdoor tap for cleaning shoes and offering drinks to animals.

One thing I will say, the park is wheelchair accessible but not wheelchair friendly (due to slopes and lack of direct access to benches - borders and bark in between the tarmac pathway and the benches). Best for scooters if needing to bring a wheelchair.

Would appreciate more information on the Noticeboard about the hire of 4x4 scooters as it was a struggle wheeling my husband up the slopes today. Would be helpful for our next experience. Honestly though, what a beautiful park. Will visit again when we have access to a scooter or when I get fitter 😅 I've heard the rhododendrons look amazing so we hope to return then 🥰

Went to find the afterlife bench which is in a lovely spot! The park is nice and there’s longer walks up the hill as well - these are quite steep in some places and pretty muddy!
