It's a lovely peaceful spot on the borders of Cockett, Townhill, Sketty and Uplands. Popular with residents, dog walkers and the Sunday Soccer Team.

A grassy plain where you can unplug from the hustle and bustle of modern day life..
Since I have ventured up to the grassy fields of the Gangies back in 2005 I have met some genuine and friendly people. I regularly play football up "The Ganiges" on Sundays.
Many a time i have seen dog walkers, amateur golfers , kids in tents and parents with children enjoying quality time upon this public land.

I certainly look forward to my time up here which coincidentally only cost me time... No fees, No parking fees and no problems..

Nice open massive bit of grassland in the middle of a built up area perfect for dog walking lovely and peaceful

Considering the amount of housing surrounding it, the council could do a lot more with it. Sort out the entrance gates, maybe some parking and rubbish bins. Planting some trees here& there and maybe a play area.
