Parc Coetir Bargod (Bargoed Woodland Park)

I walk along her 2 to 3 times a week to unwind its so peaceful and paths are easy

Lovely circular walk along the river and through wooded areas about an hour and 30 mins. Dog friendly free car park. Say never yells you to go high settees however if you ignore and carry on the main road thr car park will be on the right and it is FREE

My go to place on my way home but be warned gets very muddy after a bit of rain
UPDATED 20/01/22 and even tho I'm a dog owner can honestly say I'm digusted at how many others there are that allow their dogs the run of the field and dont pick up after their pooches ....Well think on vos thoughtlessness will be complained about and if this happens we could end up loosing it🤬

Fabulous walking experience. Lots of paths to follow. Easy and currently fre parking too.

Great Riverside walk. Wheelchair friendly in my opinion. Couldn't find a car park so parked on waste ground near morrisons

Very nice place to have a wander and admire the old colliery, pipes that used to discharge into the Rhymney river. Great place to walk dogs or just enjoy the wooded walks. Nice to cycle around. Fabulous rock formations where the river has cut through the bedrock

Nice walk for the dog and to get the kids off they're phones and blow the cobwebs off

There's plenty of 'starting' points. But directions took us to a round about. Ended up parking on farm view road. Which was the middle of the trail.

Didn't walk it all. But the river was lovely and surroundings.
