Orchard Multi Storey Car Park

Not far from the centre but can get full quickly, the spacing is a little tight on areas and the charge for parking is on average for this area

It's a car park, what more can I say. Yes, it's close to the centre, is wheelchair friendly and is a good size. Ohhh, it has lifts (word of warning, they were so smooth, they made me feel travel sick). The spaces are tight and there are pillars every third bay (noone wants to park next to a pillar as it makes it hard to exit your car, especially a 3 door hatchback as the doors are longer). I hate paying for parking but, at least you pay going back to your car and don't have to guess how many hours you'll need or, have to dash back to your car to top up because you needed more time than you thought.
It's all down to weighing up the pros and cons for what suits you best.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Payment machines cannot cope with queues after shows. Try to avoid! Many peoples tickets did not work. Waiting in queue to pay for 20 minutes so instead of paying £4 I had to pay £10. Parked for 5 hours and 8 minutes! To add insult to injury the barriers on exit were open so many people paid nothing!

Same as any other, car parking starts on first floor upto think its 5 levels, there is access into the orchard shopping centre via stairs/lift.

Good location but the only onsite machine payment option is cash. I had none so drove straight back out again. Very frustrating.

Never to full, maybe as parking marking to small (ok 20/30years ago) large cars&4x4s will struggle to park & getting out is difficult

5 story's., the higher you go the more parking. Lifts are clean but very slow. Ticket machine not on every floor so always carry your Ticket.

Possibly My Favourite Car Park In Taunton, Purely Because Of The Entrance And Exit... It's A Carousel !!

I'll Admit The Parking Is A Little Tight But I Do Have A 5 Series 🙃, Parking Charges Are Very Reasonable Considering It's Right On The High Street, £1.20 For An Hour And Obviously You Can Stay Longer Than That.
