It's free. Parking bays are narrow. Tight going up and down levels.

This old castle carpark is now showing its age it was Refurbished some twenty years ago and is now showing signs of wear and tare the main run to the upper floors is now potholed with poor lightning on the lower floors but the third floor entrance level is well lighted and clean the upper two levels have limited access during the week and can be chained off there are six lifts and stairs from the main site and the shopping levels have parent and child and mobility parking bays for easy access to the main retail area the multistory carpark has a capacity of 1000 car's according to the council Web site. operating times are mon-thur 08:00-1800 Fri 08:00-19:00 sat 08:00-18:00 sun 10:00-16:00 exit gate closed 1 hour later.

From its poor lighting, tight bends, black sooted walls, pee-drenched stairways and lifts that almost knock you out in the heat of summer and huge concrete columns consuming 1-2 of every 3 parking spots makes this car park quite possibly the worst car park in all of Northamptonshire.

But it is a good front and welcome to Wellingborough. In other words, get out when you still can.

Good free parking, not so keen on the urine scented stairs but what can you expect from a free car park

The Car Looks Better But The Only Problem Is That The Car Park's Express Lifts Are Outdated and Need Modernising

Clean & tidy since it's been recently refurbished. Could do with motorcycle bays having locking bars on them but overall much better than it used to be.

It's one of the good car parks as I usually avoid them

Going up and down the floors via the car ramps is a little dicey, but still the makeover has it looking smart
