Definitely a beautiful place for a peaceful walk. A bit tricky to get to the car park which it not that big either but apart from that I enjoyed myself

BLUE GREEN ALGAE SEPTEMBER 2022.
This is a great place to walk around but please do not swim or allow dogs in th water at the moment as there is blue green algae. Blue green algae kills dogs and makes humans very unwell.

Greenbooth reservoir and Knowl Hill. The car park is small, free of charge but gets busy. The car park is accessed by a bumpy cobbled road that will test the cars suspension. The surrounding area however is stunning and worth the drive up.

Handy car park to approach the walks around the reservoirs. They are hidden from the main road between Rochdale and Bury. A full circuit can be completed in an afternoon. Sheep are free to roam, so dogs need close supervision.

Very bumpy cobbled road all the way up very uncomfortable drive with not a lot of spaces! Super breathtaking views and a super lovely walk though!

A great place to park. From this car park you'll have to walk a bit to the reservoir. The walk is beautiful. The drive to the car park is cobblestone part way, and the car park isn't paved. I definitely hope to come here again and explore some more.
